Don't ride on your own! That's what the LHC is there for. I'm doing the WHW the week before so I don't reckon I'm gonna be too spritely. See you then. Best speaking to bob or rose at backpacking light, they will point you in the right direction. I've got the hex peak and usually use it without the nest and it's huge but I am only 5'8

Argh - they're 9 speed........must have been an early adopter. I have some 8 speed Alivio triggers (8x3) and V brakes - Shimano brakes with Cannondale levers. On closer inspection, it would appear not. Sorry. I do have some V-brakes and V-brake levers kicking about.
