can I ask a dumb question, is it a problem to arrive before 12 on Saturday ?, I'll be riding on Friday, sleeping somewhere, then turning up, it'd seem a bit daft to be sat outside the front gate waiting for the bell

please say so if it is a problem though Stu

Yes!
I have a fun pass.
Coming from the south coast on a train to Shrewsbury probably.
Any route suggestions?

Family ticket?
I think you might have confused it with Alton Towers.

I'm probably going to organise something from around that area.
Just need to work out distances, which is more about the return on Sunday.

Another one to be kept in the loop please Chew... although might join you slightly further down the route if that's OK?

Yes, but at this stage I'm still not sure of my movements exactly. I have a ticket and will definitely be going but I just wouldn't want to commit to travel sharing or anything until I know what I'm up to.

I was wondering about parking at rhyader on friday and riding to one of the bothies for that night then up to BBT on the saturday. That close to the HT550 I am thinking it will be a very social paced ride! Be good if anyone else is keen

Well, if no-one else is crazy enough to do South Wales to BBHQ, I'd happily do Rhayader.

Interested in a good route from Llangollen area, if anybody is in the know ?
Minimum roads preferable and quiet ones if we must...
Or park in Glyn Ceiriog, I've ridden in the Berwyns that way
Cadair Bronwen, then S to Moel
Looks "feasible" from there to :
Llangynog
????

And from there Stu can give us a good route ?

I plan on turning up with Adam and George (he's not a forum member but been to bb events fairly often, hope that's ok).
As a competitive tw*t, what will the tussock racing entail? Running with a loaded bike, unloaded bike, no bike?
