Re: Talk to me about B+
I've got 3" ground controls on rumpus wheels on my swift. I don't get to ride off road much so I don't know how accurate my perceptions are. The wheels are a bit heavier to pick up but I don't notice it when I'm riding. The bike feels a bit more agile, it's not a night and day change but I pref...

Re: Tubeless rumpus
I've finally shaken off my man flu and done the first wheel. Followed your advice and it went up first time with a track pump.
Cheers for the guidance.

Re: Tubeless rumpus
Did you use the one inch width tape and overlap the wraps in the middle or cut down the wider tape?

Tubeless rumpus
I've bought some rumpus wheels a would like to tubeless them. I'm not sure where to tape to though. Do you cover the whole bed of the rim or do you leave the channel at either side exposed to help the bead of the tyre ro snap into place. Any ideas?

Re: New Bike Time
Charge cooker ss comes out soon and looks really nice. Not so good if you want ss and gears.
Building a bike up is pretty straight forward. As long as you remember righty tighty you're all set.

Re: Seat pack comparisons
I have two 8 litre dry bags, one strapped to the bars and one on the frame using a salsa cage. Getting a proper frame bag is the next purchase but I'm toying with the idea of getting a new frame so I'm holding fire until I've decided about the frame. For summer trips I have a 5 litre dry bag strappe...

Re: Seat pack comparisons
Thank you for the replies, it's really helpful to hear from people with experience of both. There seems to be a consensus developing. I had the impression that the wildcat was designed for 8 litres but you could force a bigger bag in there. It sounds as though that's not the case? I think I'll have ...

Seat pack comparisons
Hello everyone. I've just entered Élan back and I'm now trying to figure out how to transform my summer kit into something suitable for the depths of winter. I think I need to get myself a seat bag. I've narrowed down to either the Wildcat Tiger or one of the Bikepack.eu ones. I'm struggling to choo...
