I have a feeling I might not really end up doing any route planning until the start line

This years WRT GR are now winging their way to inboxes across the globe ... if your email hasn't arrived within the next couple of hours, here's what to do.

Have a look in your spam folder.
Check your 'other' email accounts ... THE ONE LINKED TO YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT.
Check the spam folder of your 'other' email accounts.

Still nothing?

Did someone else enter you? They did, well they'll have the email.
Did you use someone elses paypal account? You did, well they'll have the email.

If none of that results in an email, get in touch: stuart@bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk

How close do you need to get to count as visiting a GR?

This isn't a mistake ... it may just take a bit of planning. I'm sure a prize could be found in exchange for photographic evidence.

Broken with tradition this year ... as hopefully the Irish sea doesn't feature

10 meters should do it.

vaguely exciting, looks like a decent route to be had, also good that there appears to be 3 maybe 4 bothies en-route as well.
Although we are definitely bivi-ing it's good to know that there are a few different options in case it's chucking it.
Having never spent a great deal of time in the vicinity, is their any un-official list of bothies that are not MBA anywhere? or is it a turn up and get lucky sort of thing if you're not a local?

Maybe at another of the grid refs, Stu has concealed his Dinghy :???:

Failing that, perhaps Stuart Rider can bring his pack raft and operate a ferry service :-bd
