Apidura bar bag and pocket, dry bags, shorts, hi-vis vest, jacket and other stuff

18 Feb - Dropped most prices in attempt to shift before resorting to Ebay etc. Open to offers on everything, particularly the more of it you buy  Prices generally ex postage and happy to do that at cost, c.£3 ish from Post Office for most stuff. Based NW of Leeds if collecting though whether I...

Re: Autoimmune disease.

Absolutely no ideas but wish you the very best.

I just remember it always seemed to be an option in every other House episode. Though basing any advice on that would seem foolish

Re: Speedgoats

I'm currently using SG4s. They're OK except that the material used in the shell is quite "stiff" so where it flexes around the joint of my small toe it has cracked. I've already bought replacements and I'm opting for the Challenger ATRs I used previously. That's not been my experience but...

Re: Speedgoats

I've a pair of Speedgoat 2 if IIRC the model correct (blue and orange colourway). I ran (in an amateur, old and heavy, C25K way, though very happily) in Brookes Calderas and Cascadias, Altra summats, Saucony Peregrines and various Inov8. The Speedgoats were best and Calderas a very close second. Spe...

Re: The post man's been ...

a slightly breath-takingly expensive Exped pack. Is it a Serag Tim? It's a Thunder 50 Stu. IIRC they are discontinued or at least very few in UK. Ended up chancing a European supplier (Backpacking United?). They were OK on price but had a minimum order value, plus Brexit taxes etc etc. It's not stu...

Re: The post man's been ...

A load of stuff which is effectively late Xmas pressies to myself. In an attempt to drop weight&bulk from packrafting trips (no thanks to John C waving it in front of me); Anfibio paddle, inflatable PFD and an airsail (the latter is an utter punt) and then a slightly breath-takingly expensive Ex...

Re: Paramo Enduro Jacket (windproof)

It's only a windproof Shaf. I mean it's a Paramo so it shrugs a fair bit off but it's in no way a hardshell or one of their more elaborate (and heavy) pump-liner-based "waterproofs".

The actual jacket, it's not faded but my camera is bobbins!

Paramo Enduro Jacket (windproof)

Size large, black body with yellow shoulders and hood. £45 posted, £40 collected (Leeds ish) or open to offers. Excellent condition after only occasional and light use. Though it has been stored in a stuff sack in my hill pack. Selling because I've got a Rab windproof that fits me better so this is ...

I appreciate beauty is often in the eye of the beholder, however, all that is needed to complete the look is a loop of bindatwine.

Ugly as sin and riddled with sub standard component choices (rim brakes and DT shifters).

Re: This doesn't look right to me

Herein lies your problem Rich. Carbon paste isn't to be used there mate... Try and het it back out (carefully) then clean all the carbon paste away. Friction is your friend. Same goes with (for example) spark plugs. Once you add any friction reducing stuff like copper ease then the handbooks sugges...

Bought a pair of these for site visits. With postage about £22. Colour's better (darker) than the pictures.

Handed keys over to the builder for refurbishment of a flat in Manchester we've "inherited".

Tyre clearance reminds me of my Fireline.

For a triangle of tubes it does look quite ..... "purposeful" :???:

Would need risers or more spacers for me but then I like riding a Ms-Daisy-shopper
