Re: WRT 2015 'Weigh in' results.

I'd actually be really interested in knowing what you had on you. As a newbie to all of this I'm intrigued as to roughly how I ended up 20lb+ heavier, large water load aside. Certain things I'll never really change (I always carry a serious first aid kit and enough gear to basically fix most bike is...

Re: WRT 2015 'Weigh in' results.

I had 2.5l of water on me at the time, and three days worth of food.

Bloody good job I had the food too, I didn't pass a single shop after 30 mins into the ride. =/

I was like a furnace both nights of this WRT. Starting to reconsider my merino sleeping gear.

Re: Tyre like a sieve... adventures in tubeless.

Just as an update to this... have now managed upwards of 200 miles with no problems on some fairly varied terrain. Quite pleased with it really.

Never going back! :-bd

For me, mostly these two:

Then I upload to my Garmin / phone (for backup).

Edit - Seems bikehike is very similar to where's the path.

Re: Spot - how to export a gpx

Looks like the Advanced Download does what you want (you can select a date range and export type). If that's not right for you, there are quite a number of GPX merge tools out there, or you could do it manually easily enough by copying the <trkpt> ***** </trkrpt> sections into a single file.

Ugh, yes... ear plugs. As soon as I saw the guy I'd be spending a night in a room with I knew I'd made a mistake by not having any. Maybe next time I'll take sleeping pills too. I don't know how the rest of you manage, but I got literally 0 hours on Saturday night, and only about 2 hours on Sunday n...

Re: Great weekend! Thanks :-)

That's some top notch fundraising. Excellent job! Had a good time despite wrecking my knee on the first day. Was so pleased to run into the two guys at the end of day two at Claerwen reservoir who told me about the bothy. I told you I wouldn't remember any of your names, sorry! (Like I said, I did r...

Re: Stans no tubes valve not sealing.

I had good results regularly shaking mine so as to get some of the goop around the valve. However, mine didn't seem anywhere near as bad as yours seems to be. I'd probably grab another, if just for long term confidence.

Weighed as desperately throwing stuff into bags... definitely on the high end of that list at the moment at ~57lbs. Don't even really know if that's everything either.
