Re: Announcing "The Shindig"

I'm very very tempted by this pretty sure "she who must be obeyed" would let me go as a birthday treat, she knows how much i love the Scotish hills

Only issue for me is the massive distance to even get there.. Wales to Scotland! any other lowlanders planning on going that could car share?

Re: Packable Waterproof Jacket

I use Berghaus Paclite for walking and biking great top and packs down small, i've had 3 of them.

A tad pricey but if you keep your eyes out I've picked them up for around £80 at go outdoors

Re: Ape size tarp (6ft6) human

I think I've just been looking at your pics online where you have front tyre at rear and bike bars as front support looks pretty neat done that way

Is there any need for poles when the bikes with you?

Never thought of using bike as a support before!!! Doh

Re: Ape size tarp (6ft6) human

I've been looking at these as I think my old army tarp is to bulky and heavy plus the poles I use with it are a pain as well

What poles would you use with this tarp?

Re: Full-sus Fatty

NIce looking bike ... but no mention of price?

Correct me if i'm wrong but i thought one of the ideas/ethos of bike Bivi/Fat bikes was that it was a minimalist thing with as little moving parts on a bike as possible and to keep weight down?
