instead of finding a match - could you not just chop it and put your own on?

I could Mart but what it's attached to doesn't belong to me, so I'd rather not if possible.instead of finding a match - could you not just chop it and put your own on?

Re: Can anyone ID this connector?
Hmm looks vaguely familiar, when I sold my big dummy the fella turned up from Germany with a electric motor ( sincerely hope your not, are you?)
He was missing one connection like this and I believe it might be a high amperage RC car type connection, might be worth looking in that direction.

I've heard they're a b*tch to solder, but there are guides on line...

We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

I'll have a look Stuart, I think there's a spare in a box here.
Same here. Solid connectors though and my soldering iron is a bit OTT for stuff like this.rufus748 wrote:That's my experience. I gave up.DoctorRad wrote:I've heard they're a b*tch to solder, but there are guides on line...

Re: Can anyone ID this connector?
I used the xt30 version, that looks like the larger xt60?
The xt30 soldered up fine, just needed a bit of forethought to clamp/hold them in place then a quick bit of heat saw it done
