Want to protect my frame from marks caused by bags.

There is loads out there.

Any better than others?

I trust 3M stuff for this type of stuff.

The stuff I'm currently using I got from a Motorsport outlet in Silverstone, it's pretty thick and you NEED a heat gun to apply it otherwise it's useless!

The only make I've used is 3M as supplied by Wildcat. There was a similar question/thread on STW a few days ago - http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic ... l-the-same

Yeah, I got some 3M stuff off Beth ... proper good gear and easy to work with.

I just ordered some before coming on here this morning.
I was reading in another place that you should apply wet and that the 'credit card trick really works' as shown on a link that no longer works.
Anyone any tips on applying?
Zazen - nothing happens next this is it.

I now use black gorilla 1" tape. It's strong sticks well and looks a little like carbon finish u can get it off eBay for around £1.70 a roll :wink:
