So I did my first bivvy Friday night…

…and it was epic! I've got a blog post almost finished for it, but I was on-foot so I won't post it up here to avoid being smited by the gods.

Are the AlpKit ones still the bivvy to get? I borrowed a friends Rab Survival Zone one for the night.

The Alpkit Hunka is pretty hard to beat in terms of value for money. Not the lightest (actually it's lighter than the Rab) nor the most compact but more than serviceable. There's a rough comparison of various bivvy bags in the review section on here.
