What's their clothing sizing like, about right per measurements given or snug?

Fancied one of their ultra light vests, shame they are not on the sale list.

I have a large minimus jacket and it's generous in size.

I dont think anything 900fp has ever been in their sale

DNF, I find their sizing to be 'normal'. I'm normally a medium t-shirt and my medium down-vest fits nicely over a base-layer but will also fit fine over a sports hoodie too.

I found myself on the border between small and medium. Went for the small and it was fine (& lighter 8-) )

Anyone care to guess whether I'd be better suited to a S or M ?

No wonder you lot can get such low gear weights, small and medium, with identical gear I'd have more weight.

I'm trying to work out if a zipless bag is right for me. I like the idea of saving loads of weight, but am a bit concerned that it might be too warm. At least with a zip I can cool off a bit, and if I was to go for a zip, I'd save myself £50 and get an Alpkit PD400 instead.

The zipless thing has never bothered me, you just pull your arms out if too warm. For UK use even in the summer I suspect you will be fine as it's only 300g of down.

The PHD will pack about 1L smaller and 200gish lighter.

If cash is concern, then in all honesty I would go for the Alpkit as I don't think the PHD is that much of an upgrade. £50 is £50 :!:

Though I've only spent a handful of night in the bivvy bag, so far I've not needed to unzip my current bag - so I've decided to get the zipless Minim and see how it goes. If it's that warm out I guess I don't actually need to be in the bivvy bag. The sale is open already, so we'll see what their delivery is like.

Chris, if you're too warm I'll swap you a little-used PD400. ;)
