Bespoked UK Handbuilt Bikeshow 2015

Post by Ian »

Who's going then?

I've been following a few builders on Instagram, and I'm really looking forward to seeing some really cool paint work by Field Cycles.
Olsen Cycles have some interesting designs with a slim twin-downtube arrangement aimed at increasing downtube stiffness for singlespeeders :geek:
Ted James just finished a mammoth 24 hour (continuous) build of a CX frame that looks interesting.

I'll also be picking up my Bahookie frame/ fork from Shand Cycles too, and the cool paint job we've been working on will be revealed. I haven't seen the finished result myself yet, but here's a small snippet of the fork: http://instagram.com/p/1Tqjrlh_Aa/

Don't forget the show is in two parts this year - bikes and such in Brunel's Old Station and the Bike Accessories in the Arnolfini. The latter is free too :-bd

Ted is always winging it with his last minute builds. Went to his workshop last year to chat about framebuilding stuff, and ended up there all day while he showed me the ins and outs of his lathes. The man knows his stuff!

I might pop up one day over the weekend, not far from here. Maybe see you there.

See you there :-) I start cycling there in the morning (from Leicester) as part of a longer tour that will include the Welsh Ride Thing.

Chapeau!

I'll be there on Friday.

I've not got long but going to have a good gander at all the shiny loveliness.

Cool, I'll be around 12-15:00.

If anyone sees a big fat yorkshire lad wandering around with a vacant expression on his face - that'll be me!

On some stuff, yes.

The Wildcat display line up looks something like this;

New version of the Mountain Lion bar harness
Fat Lion
Lioness
Tom Cat
Ocelots in all sizes
Tiger seat harness
Leopard, Snow Leopard & Clouded Leopard custom frame bags
And, finally...

...drum roll...

Some exciting prototype stuff we've been working on

For those who might have missed it, Wildcat Gear won the Best in Show in the accessories area last night!
