Are there any recommended places to eat if staying in Pennant?

e.g. good pub food.

Are you are the old school house?

We stayed there for there n back and we ended up driving to Mach for dinner. Think we went in the White Lion which was alright, not amazing but did the job.

The Star Inn is under new ownership and has undergone a full re-fit, so is worth a look. Otherwise it's Mach' or Llanidloes really.

This would be good but alas the website says they haven't finished the kitchen. Unless you've heard otherwise (and their website is behind).

Yes I'm at the schoo house. Gairy is also staying there.

See you all Saturday

What time you aiming for?
Was thinking of driving up Friday night to save an early start on Saturday. Was then just going to kip in the van at/near the School

Wish I had a van! I'm meeting andy at Dolgadfan campsite about 4.30/5 depending on traffic. White Lion does food all day I think, so maybe 6 - 6.30 so we can have a good natter and still get a pretty early night? Suit you?
