MYOG 1P basic tarp tent

Post by larsmars »

I'm new on this forum and I've been inspired by the MYOG posts. I tried to knock up a tarp tent and bivvy sack the other day. I used Jamie Short's lytw8t catenary tarp tent design as a guide, but made a few adjustments. Feedback and suggestions welcome. I am planning to test it out this weekend. Here are some more photos of how it turned out.

That looks fantastic, adding a cat cut isn't easy. I think a clip on front beak would be an ideal addition.

BTW those poles look like a really high quality addition to anyones tarp set up
