Oooh new goodies at PHD

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

Phd have a few new goodies. They're limited editions and are only available during May and June ... worlds lightest down bag or 140g down pull-over anyone?

Trying not to look, but 140g top is going to pack so small. Not sure that fabric is jack proof though

The top looks vaguely exciting!

Like a lighter down version of my Montane Fireball smock

that racer sleeping bag looks great, only annoying thing is PHD won't tell me the fill weight of down in the bag. I'd sooner not buy a 260g bag with 20g of down in!

Current bag is a yeti vib 150 with 150g of 800 fill down in. If I knew the fill in the PHD I could compare it warmth wise.

Anyone got a PHD bag, are they generous with the fill of down in them?

That bag could be brilliant for racing and summer use if my Minim Ultra is anything to go by, 8 deg rated and I've been ok (slept, but not exactly cosy) at freezing point. The new one's 100g / almost a 1/3 lighter. I'd go for that top too if I didn't put stove burns, chain oil / etc in my tops as often!
