Has zip off arms, three rear pockets. Whilst this says EU XXL on the label, its not that huge. I'm 6 foot with relatively long arms and decent shoulders - this fits perfectly in the arms and whilst its a bit loose around the body - certainly not roadie-tight - its not tent like at all. Lightly used - a little bit of bobbling on one cuff is the only thing I can see.

Howies Riding Jacket with removable arms, grey, XL

I can't remember the name of this jacket, and its not in Howies' current line up. Its a softshell type jacket, with a kind of part-piled inner (the squares you can see in the photo are piled. I'm fairly sure the outer is the Schoeller 3XDRY water-resistant fabric that they use in some of their existing line-up, but there are no labels showing that. The arms have a clever zip design that means you can get a finger in and pull off without having to unzip them. The cuffs have a liner with thumb holes. Its a little looser than the Gore Phantom. I also found it a bit warmer, on account of the pile I guess. The main zip is at an angle so that it is offset at the mouth. One rear zipped, and two side pockets. Light wear - some bobbling on the inner cuffs, and a bit of wear of the reflective tape around the zip of the rear pocket.

Howies fibre piled, soft-shell hoody, brown, L

Quite warm and bulky - definitely for after biking, not during, and not for carrying whilst riding. Softshell type outer with fibre pile inner. Inner zip pocket for iPod with headphone hole and cable guide loops. Similar size to the Riding jacket, despite being labelled a different size. Elasticated hem and cuffs. Slight bobbling on one cuff - no other signs of wear.
