Outdoor active Km markers on route??

After uploading a GPX on to the Viewranger app you could then click in the route and it would show kilometre markers.

Can this be done on Outdooractive? Whatever I try on the app or Google to try and find the answer, I can’t seem to make it happen.

I didn't know you could show km markers in VR, but I used to find it really useful to be able to select a route, and then select a waypoint on that route (e.g. one nearest your current location, or the next village, say) and it would show the route distance.

I asked OA support if you could do something similar in OA: no.

The best I've come up with is
Go to a route, either by finding it in Routes, or if it's on My Map, tapping the icon at the start and then tapping the preview that comes up
Go to the Map tab
Tap the down arrow below the distance/elevation/etc. bar at the top to show the profile
Then you can scrub along the profile which shows you the distance, and shows you the same point on the map below

Not the same at all, but maybe it's of some use.
