A milestone of sorts.

2000 people who consider sleeping in a ditch to be perfectly normal(ish).

Yes, welcome to ledburner, number 2000. Just imagine if we all turned up at the same time at the same ditch
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

that was quick. Wasn't Bearstock in celebration of 1000 members? And that was only a few years back

About 5 years per 1000 members Ben. We're all about quality, not quantity

It's a good size. Enough folk to be able to tap a wide range of knowledge and experience but small enough to feel like a community.
Top work Sir.

I want to make you feel extra special and say yes but sadly I am a fraud - it was a google image. I really liked its purity

If we're celebrating 'counts' I can remember when Stu had 'only' 10000 posts! Not far off double that now  .

What I don't understand is; who else is using my logon id? It seems that I, somehow, am the second most prolific poster.

It's like the mad uncle in the family - we don't like to talk about him  .

Another apparently very popular forum not entirely unconnected with non-road-based biking. I've heard tell that discussions can get quite robust and there's no panda control-rods to calm things down so there's a very high entertainment value  .

I had a sudden flashback to Captain Scarlet and his SPV there. I've still got my Dinky model with the working caterpillar tracks, missile and sliding door seat thing! Marvellous.
