Small bar bag recommendations
Hi all, I'm after the hive mind's thoughts on small handlebar bags for the gradventourer.
Something about 2L capacity, some shockcord on the outside for a lightweight jacket would be nice. Custom colours a bonus.
I'd rather send my money towards a little independent company, UK based (thinking support your independent traders, keep it local rather than any notions of rule Britannia...).
On the shortlist at the mo:
*Wizard Works Lil' Presto
*Straight Cut Designs bagel bag
*Restrap cannister bag
*Lugit Bespoke cuboid/little cuboid
Any others I should have a nosey at? Ta.

I went the custom route on a Wizard Works Lil' Presto. All in al I think the bag is great and it is just the right size for long days out( well actually I don't take it off at all so it stays on for short rides) The quality of materials and construction seem first rate and Harry who makes the bags is a real gent to deal with.
The only problem I have had is that things have jumped out of the side pockets when going over lumpy stuff. I think in retrospect it would be better with a mesh side pocket. Other people I know with the same bag haven't had this problem, but I thought I would give you an honest answer from my experience.
I would buy again and I'm already thinking about a custom full set of bags for a future project.

I’ll probably get drummed out of here for this but...
Crikey, how much (rapper) bar bag, actually good value at £45 and can be found cheaper on the e of bay.
I’ll get my coat...

Noone really understands 'criky... how much'. Ra*ha bar bag you say. £45 you say... You got a link (not for me but for original poster you might have to asterisks one letter out of the link url and whoever uses it adds the letter back in... Its complicated talking about the Crikey, how much stuff over these shores )

May the bridges you burn light your way

Re: Small bar bag recommendations
Surely you don't need a full packet, as long as there's pink
Re: Small bar bag recommendations
Carradice Zipped Roll, 3.5 litres? St John Street have them on sale at the mo, £35. A bit bigger/heavier but some element of waterproofing and the dowel support is a good thing once it's full.
Re: Small bar bag recommendations
Carradice do a bikepacking variant of that too - lighter materials and webbing straps rather than leather.
