FS: Tubus Fly pannier rack + a few other things

Post by Zippy »

I'm having a bit of an organise/clearout. Here's a link to my photobucket account which I'm using for all stuff I'm getting rid of: http://s2.beta.photobucket.com/user/hum ... 1/library/

I live near Colchester, Essex if you're nearby and want to collect rather than me post, I would normally say I can bring to events etc. but I don't really know what events I'm doing this year yet...
Payment wise, would prefer bank transfer because it means I don't have to pay a paypal transaction charge, but will also do paypal or cash, or even cheque (but the turnaround might take a while!). I'm most likely to post stuff on a friday or saturday - but if you need it quick, speak to me nicely and I can probably post it on my non existent lunch break ;)

Anyway, items potentially of interest to people here:

Tubus Fly - Brand New £45 +P&P

Just like this: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/tubus-fly-rear-rack/ see tubus website for detailed spec: http://www.tubus.com/product.php?xn=9

I have not even fitted this to a bike, was going to put it on my cx / commuting bike, but have decided against it! So brand spanking new, supposedly 341grams and can support 18kg. Comes with all the fixing kit etc. Very good quality.

Also have this funky adaptor so you can fit to you normal rack points as opposed to just the centre hole.

These were surprisingly difficult to get hold of, and pricey! Will include for +£5

TorTec Ultralite Rear Rack - Used but fine! £7.50 +P&P

Bought from wiggle a few years ago - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/tortec-ultralite-rear-rack/ and has seen varying useage here & here!

Has been used on a bike with disc brakes and the photos show, so I've had to file a small bit out of the rack so it would fit - structurally this is fine! Weighed in at 524grams

Can throw in some nuts and stuff to fit it if you don't have any, let me know what you'd need.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ring - LED & halogen Torch - Very good Condition £3 + P&P

Uses 4 x AA batteries and is just a glow worm type LED & Halogen. Was good in it's day but tech. has moved on! Might be nice as a backup light in your car or something...maybe! It's weatherproof and you can change the beam angle of the light.

Smart 3 LED Front Bike Light FOC + P&P!

Used, but it still works. Uses 2 x AA batteries and these last ages. Used it through my uni days on my campus bike, no need for it now but I don't like throwing perfectly good things away.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Other computer stuff including most component bits of a Dell Latitude D630 Laptop, CPU & heatsink+fan, WXGA+screen, PSU, Chassis etc. A Logitech mx3200 wireless keyboard, Olympus digital Dictaphone and a fairly meaty 1050W ATX PSU. See here

I also have some bike related things to come, but I haven't sorted that out yet. Off the top of my head some sora HTII compact double cranks without rings, some exotic aluminium 26" wheel rigid forks, one of those chain cleaner degreaser thingies that can go FOC, specialized BG saddle - so if anyone is interested in any of those I'll try and whip them off and take some photos etc.

hi zippy,
I'm interested in the TorTec Ultralite Rear Rack & Smart 3 LED Front Bike Light for my commuter.
Let me know your bank account details and additional cost for postage, and I will send it over.

Chaps and Chapesses,

I have now listed a load of my stuff as mentioned in this thread on eBay. See them here

I'm a bit loathed to put the Tubus Fly on eBay though, coz having a quick search for similar items, I think it would be a bit undervalued. Dropping price to £35, anyone interested?

Bump!

Everything now sold / given away... apart from the Tubus Fly in case there is any renewed interest.
