I have my patch from TNR and a few other events i was going to stick on frame bag, I originally attached it with fabric glue, but that didn't seem to last too well, any suggestions for best way to attach them on there to last?
Don't worry i won't go full paid wearing, mug-dangling, front rack packing.....

I stuck mine onto my Ortlieb accessory bag with double sided carpet tape and it's fine, sewing is another way of letting water into your bag. Obviously, the flatter the surface, the better.

Sewing is probably the best bet for longevity. Any holes can be sealed on the inside with a small amount of seam sealer.
I've yet to find a glue that will hold / last for any length of time.

Silicone sealant.
I stick all the kids cubs/guides badges in with it.
I've put my 4 season bivi badge on to my bike luggage too.
Just make sure you get it right to the edge and leave overnight, no seeing skills required.
