Not something I’d take bikepacking but would be interesting to have one for the camper. Pretty nifty.

A giant wood gas stove by the looks of it. I have a couple of backpacking sized wood gas stoves (one i made)and they're pretty efficient, but $300?!

Uhm, there's a thought.

Yes, giant wood-gas stove. It looks like it should kick out some serious heat, although it probably is meant for the glamping set who want something a little different from all the other T5's parked on the campsite.

Cool, but not cheap

I have a few wood burning stoves, including a bushbuddy (wood gasification stove) which I haven't used in ages. Last one I used was an Emberlit UL but that was when I was playing around with the kids in the woods and making some lunch

For a while I used to take my bushbuddy and a meths stove on walking trips, but the problem is trying to find wood

I've been using meths on all my bikepacking trips because it packs up so damn small

They look like they're burning a pub-size jenga set:

Only wood-fired thing I use is a ghillie kettle when trail building, but then there's usually a wheelbarrow to carry the whole brewkit which includes an insulated kettle / tea pot and two dozen mugs.

IME wood-fired stuff is great in theory but a bit of a PITA compared to meths or gas. Still if the romance grabs you who's to say no

washing machine drum fire pits are a lot cheaper but requier lots of hard work to get out the machine , we can get one that we use at glencoe car park in the winter burning efficiently enough that there is no smoke.

"Jenga" . What a great photo. That's the future of Bikepacking right there. We've been out-evolved. Even the mugs on the left have been shot-blasted clean after use AND turned upsidedown to drain. Very fastidious. What do the signs at the back say? Looks like something rude through my wrecked eyes.

Maybe it's the filter they've used but I'm not sure they are even outside? And how is everything so clean? It's not proper bikepacking unless you've got dried sheep poo on your legs with an oil stain over the top from the chain

My son has just brought one home from school, he’s currently playing ‘Thunderstruck’ by AC/DC on it, I’m so proud. :-bd
