With more talk of bottle cages, I thought I'd just post a quick update on my double barrel bottles mash up.

Did a 4 day ride last week with my daughter. Fully laden with her gear and mine, pretty much like the pics above.

Bottles worked a treat. No movement at all and didn't get in the way of my knees. As I said, I rarely stand whilst peddling. I did give at a for the sack of testing. I lightly graze my knees for the first couple of revs until I'd got used to the new position.

Granted our route was mostly on cycle paths and road but when we did hit the dirt they were fine.

To be honest, most of the time I just didn't think about them.

For the cost of a couple of mounts it may be worth a try.
