Hey all,
Just wondering if there are any "off the shelf" gravel bikes out there, particularly well suited to bike packing? I'm hoping to keep the budget below £1k if possible. I have a Ridley Xbow at the moment, but here's a few fundamental design issues with the bike which mean setting it up for bike packing is a bit of a chore. Any thoughts, recommendations, suggestions?

Pinnacle Arkose is well worth considering. 2016 models are reduced at the moment too ... gearing might be a little steep on some models for loaded off-road but that's easily sorted.

GT Grades have 30% off at Wiggle at the mo. Doing my best to try and ignore them.

The GT Grade's maximum tyre clearance of 35mm put me off. Does that help you ignore them?

You could wait until November get the new Fargo frame that takes 29er plus and transplant bits.
Now there's a thought.

Zazen - nothing happens next this is it.

I've been eyeing up the Genesis Vagabond, it's right at the top end of your budget though. I'm hoping to persuade my misses to get me it on her cycle to work!
