Friday the 13th bivi (july)

Post by MM-on-POINT »

I will be in Chester some where along the river Dee on Friday night for some bivi-ing.
my main purpose for being in Chester is to have a scout about &find good places to live plus find good routes for my partner to cycle to work.
I should be finished my scouting chores Friday about 6pm so if any locals fancy a night out biving let me know i will be there Saturday night too but i am not sure where i will be biving that night as my mate is meeting me up there and i think we might be heading out into wales some where!?

If any one has any good info about this area please feel free to share. :D

You're close to Delamere Forest. Have to be very stealthy though.
Deepest Cheshire, if you know what I mean.

I haven't ridden Delamere for a few years but I wouldn't think it'd be that great a bivi spot. Even the riding was average ;)

Midge and horsefly hell in many parts as well. Personally I'd drive west and south a bit of Chester. Get into some hinterlands. I forget the name of the good hills out there. Sorry, less use than a chocolate fire guard 8-)

Some good routes and potential bivi spots on the Clwyds just west of Chester...

Yeah, Delamere is a little tame I guess.
Clwyds are lovely and peacefull though if you can get out there.
