Can't help specifically but a couple of sites:

http://en.parkopedia.co.uk/parking/carp ... inchester/

http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations_ ... s/WIN.aspx

The second site is good for any UK station if you need to find what facilities are available, worth bookmarking.

There isn't much in the way of free or cheap parking in Winch, however if you drive towards All Saints church near St Catherine's road (residential area near the start of the SDW, you should be able to find a free spot. Enjoy your ride.

There is loads of free parking if you're willing to ride a mile or two to the start, I live in Harestock and its free to park where I am. would be a 10 min ride to the start. I might even see you out there as I plan to ride to QECP for a lap of the red and back.
