Bearstock - Thanks

Post by AndyA »

After a short ride / hike up Carno Windfarm / fun descent we're in the Red Lion at Caersws. Lovely evening, huge thanks to Stuart & Dee for hosting and great to meet everyone, we'll be doing more trips now as a family as a result of how this one went, lots of fun.

Big up the headnet rave crew in the midge field! :-bd

Yes, great to put faces to names (and real names as well!). The bacon sandwiches were a particular highlight.

Thanks Dee and Stu for all your hard work and great hosting of such a fun event.

And thanks Stu for such a great route back to Wrexham, I hardly saw any cars for 90% of the 67 miles back.

Managed to get everything dismantled, cleaned and put away by 7 this evening, just eaten my first food since 8.00pm Friday and standing in the kitchen at 2.00am this morning washing pots, now seems like weeks ago. Dave's right, we do have a community but perhaps strangely, I'm not proud of 'it' ... what I am truly proud of, are the people within that community, the individuals that form it - every single one, makes washing pots at two in the morning or forgetting to eat for 48 hours worth it.

That said, there's f**k all chance of another until at least 2021

Yep, thanks to Dee and Stu for putting on a great do.

Not a part of the world we'd been to before.

Great idea to make people ride there. We did some fine riding over the two days we were there.
