On Monday I'll be heading off to the Wicklow Mountains for a week. Nothing strange in that apart from the fact that Dee's coming too It'll be her first proper 'trip' and she's determined to do it properly (although I do seem to be carrying quite a few things extra). I imagine that we might be swapping the Welsh midges and rain for Irish ones, so thought I wouldn't make her suffer under a tiny tarp (she doesn't want to take a tent) ... this is my solution.

Looks the business, and I hope Dee really enjoys it too - after all the hard work she puts in for all of us.
Will be interested to hear how you get on over there, I had looked at it as an option for my Easter trip with the boys but read lots of tales about there being very little access to land etc.
