Re: Bargain Alert Thread
Just checked the emails from PHD from last year and they don't mention the courier. Maybe drop them a line.

Yeah, i emailed them last week, just figured I'd ask here too! Did you get a confirmation when stuff was dispatched?

Re: Bargain Alert Thread
Not that I can see: just two emails (that I can access via my phone): one is the register an account confirmation, the other is the order confirmation. I remember nearly forgetting that I'd placed the order- it took that long for it to be delivered but then their site does say 20 days or so. We get spoilt by next-day deliveries
Best idea is place the order then stick a reminder on your phone or wherever for three weeks down the line.

Ah, that's ok then. I was worried I'd missed something! Ordered mid-Jan knowing there'd be a wait and it'll be worth it in the end, hoping it turns up before the Easter weekend...
Re: Bargain Alert Thread
Having now sold all my down jackets I thought that down jacket with zip off sleeves would be quite good (still have 3 down vests and many synthetic fill vests, smocks and jackets)
Asked them about adding a hood, not possible. Shame, might have gone for it then!
Probably a sign I should stick with my synthetic fill hooded jacket

I notice that on their front page they have a "Sleep Systems" but when you click on it you just get a holding page - http://www.phdesigns.co.uk/sleep-systems/

Just went to get a down hat but it appears the price your see, is the price you pay! I was expecting the £44 price to drop by 25%

Uniqlo are selling their very good ultralight down jackets in camouflage for just £29.90, (normally £59.90) only XL left though.

The forum shortened it anyway, the origional one was a click through link from an email they had sent me and was most of a page of text on my phone screen!
Anyway thats a really cheap SON hub if folks are looking for one. I bought new from SJS in the end after my difficulty with 'the other ones'

Maybe of use to some....
Just been to Asda for the usual crap when wifey spotted some
mtb tyres on the clearance shelf...26 x 1.75 road/commuting tyres,
Boxed as Bell but the tread looked familiar,in the box they are CST's,
Had a set before,good on the road,anyway,I'm rambling...they are £4
Each reduced from £16

Have you used it yet? Any thoughts? I'm considering one of these myself, but wasn't sure about the whole quick release mech bracket. TaLump wrote:Ordered one of these, nice for the dosh

Re: Bargain Alert Thread
Not sure if it's a "bargain" but slightly cheaper Black Rock downhat on Massdrop:
https://www.massdrop.com/buy/black-rock ... romotional
Had both this and a PHD downhat. I prefer the Black Rock one (fit / head shape / staying-on-ness etc).
