So is this confirmed for the start of July now? Want to make sure I don't arrange anything else for the same time.

We never did sort that ride out over the summer
Sounds like a plan Mike, Steve and Paul will be in tow too..
Not sure on timings or anything yet, but we should get this squared away..

Looking at a route for this, has anyone used the Montgomery canal from Llangollen to
Welshpool ? Also from W/pool has anyone got a Ucr/ b/way route to Stu's ?
I've looked at several B road options and some of the above but haven't much
Knowledge of that area....I know routes in from Mach but that takes me out of
My way when I may be short on time
Thanks in advance for any ideas :-bd
Ps only ever used paper maps so Gr's are my friend however.....stop the press..
....thinking of an early grid ref/latlong gps device :o

Start point wouldn't really matter too much, I'd be happy enough leaving my car somewhere for a few days or getting dropped off / picked up.

I'd argue the Taff Trail is probably the easiest way to make it to Brecon though. :D

You may notice (but probably won't) a little box on the ticket form that says 'Song title and performer'. This is for music requests should you have any - can I suggest you think of some because Agadoo is currently winning. Also, please bear in mind that my musical tastes are likely to be different from most peoples ... I'd hate to inflict them on you for hours on end :-bd

A million different songs went through my head when I saw that box, including Chaotic Discords "Black Beauty" amongst other silliness. I decided it might be better if I don't inflict my obscure tastes on the band. :)

Sadly not in my collection ... however, I can offer you 'Seal Clubbing' or 'Anarchy in Woolworths' :-bd

I'll take you up on that. I'll have to get my brother to find my old cassette with Black Beauty on it and rip it.
If you really must have something for the band, something relatively neutral/foot tappin' would be "You Sound Like Louis Burdett" by The Whitlams.

As for music I tend to be very picky, although I've got a feeling it wont be too much of a problem unless you all love modern techno or what ever passes for music nowadays...

Classic rock fan here, or as I've learnt by what section my bands come under in shops, "dad music"....

Sadly I'm gonna be one of 'those' people and stay a maybe until I can confirm the time off, I know its not helpful but being self employed can actually mean a more sporadic schedule than you might think.
Soon as I know ill get 2 tickets paid for.

Starting to think a lift halfway, ride half would be more reasonable for myself and my partner, more regarding navigation than the distance aha
