Whats your SCR FCN?
Just ran across this while searching for something else and it seems like a good bit of nonsense for a wild wet and windy NYE.
That was until I read one of the sayings ‘every time I don’t ride my bike God kills a little kitten’ much prefer some of the haikus like
In fear of pursuit
I press on into the gale
quietly weeping
Apologies if you already know about SCR.

Re: Whats your SCR FCN?
I wasn't aware of rules!! Only been overtaken once, on a long draggy climb by a bloke on quite a pricey looking e-bike (oh the shame of it ;-) )
Not a lot of point on my commute, don't see many people and they tend to be going the other way.

10. And properly guilty of doing this. There was a bloke on skinnies who passed me at a roundabout on Xmas day...took me a few miles to catch but got him on a climb...with just enough breath left to call out "you folks on skinnies are bloody hard to catch" before I turned off on my route, got 200m down the road and started gulping in air.

Between 6 and 10 depending on my bike of choice. I think my folder will be fun for this in London. Game on!

it's not that I can and others can't, it's that I will and others won't.

Re: Whats your SCR FCN?
My FCN is 2 apparently. . . . But then for my commute I am technically a girl with shaved legs (when I remember! ) on a road bike . . . . Not sure I can be bothered to consider the rules . . . I just know I don't like people in front of me on my commute
Re: Whats your SCR FCN?
I must be well into negative territory as I got left for dead by an old guy riding an electric bike with panniers and I was on a FS and wearing baggies.
It was up on the Ridge Way after work does that still count?

6
EDIT: Sorry, it's actually 7 as I missed the beard option...
I also really think the distance of your commute should be factored.

Re: Whats your SCR FCN?
Mine depends on bike, I ride both road and XC
Either 3 or 9
For me its less about what I'm riding and who I'm over taking....its about looking as relaxed, effortless and smug as possible when riding past (heart rate through the roof...just dont show it! )
Best moment would be overtaking 2 team riders training for a race, both of them constantly cuting up traffic staring into their powermeters when I ride past on a laden road bike setup for bikepacking. Nothing defies aerodynamics (and confuses pro's) more than hitting speeds with giant wotzit shaped bags under the bars and seat
