You're obviously not riding in Sidi shoes. I doubt £200 gets you their base model nowadays.

TBH that's why I went for the LE - a bit more space and a little harder wearing - looks ideal for what I need

Not a delivery as such, more a "pick it up as you walk past the store on the way home", a Genesis Crois de Fer 10.



Excuse the weeds, it's the neighbour's yard.

Rides quite nicely, obviously not as quick as a pure road bike but it's livelier than the On-One it's replacing and about 10% quicker . It's the 2016 model, only just arrived in the country. Just need to transfer the dynamo & light across (there's already a mounting hole in the fork crown) and put some decent mudguards on and it's good to go as a commuter. Sora groupset - the rear isn't bad but the front is a bit "clunky". Brakes are the TRP Spyres. I'm told that Clement are reasonable CX tyres. An Ortlieb rolltop saddlebag (you can just see the mount on the saddle rails) is big enough for my work clothes and tools but I'll end up using a tool bottle on the lower mount. Need to get another bottle cage as well.

I think it will be quite good for touring on gravel roads, though it's not sold as a "Gravel Bike" - the CdA fills that niche apparently, my commute has a long section of canal towpath and I wasn't being shaken too much. My Wildcat Ocelot framebag fits nicely and the seat harness shouldn't be a problem though the gear cables coming out of the side of the hoods might need some careful negotiating for mounting anything on the handlebars.

Before all that, I think it needs some protective tape applying.

An Exposure Joystick for night adventures... together with one of the 'side-eye' lights. Not sure how useful that will be but it looks cool.

Hopefully on monday - that wide diameter bar extender, and a 'beacon' clip on thing to make the joystick more a 'be seen' light... and maybe a temporary bothy illuminator...

Hey Whitestone, for a few Sunday morning hungover seconds I thought I'd already posted my pic!!
Well its everything he ^^ said but this one has the Dynamo hub and light fitted thanks to Keep Pedalling.
First ride last night, feels a tad 'heavy' but nice and comfy on the country lanes at the back of Conwy. It handled the wet muddy grass on the hills beyond Conwy mountain superbly if I'm honest. Very confident in the tyres :)
I'm gonna enjoy my rattle free commute now!! I'll probably have the odd overnighter on her as well.
