So, before I buy a new tent does anyone have anything that they would like to part with?
Budget up to £120 maybe a touch more for something good.
Weight sub 2.3kg. It's for 'road' touring with a rack so doesn't need to be crazy light.
Has to be 2 person as I'm 6'4 and from experience I don't fit in 1 person tents!
Wanted: Lightweight 2 person tent.

Honestly check out the wild country zephyros 2 tent. I think it is around 130 bucks in some places. Its just a cost effective alternative to the terra nova competition tent and made by the same people. It would also come with a guarantee

Ya know what? I stuck my TN Laser Comp 2 up in the garden this morning and started looking at it in that odd way you look at bikes you don't really get on with and was just thinking it might just need gone.
It's in pretty much perfect condition and fine if all you need is something to sleep in, but I've found it a bit coffin-like and always used it with a tarp cast over the top for somewhere to do camping stuff in (you know, like cooking and sitting up a watching the world) Its had about 30 nights of use and Ive dismantled the stupid, dreadful, pointless, confusing, tangled mess of idiocy that was the stringy bits that let you to lift the ends to reduce condensation (they didn't) but all the bits are there and Ive got the instructions to put it back together if you could be bothered.
£150 posted?
NB: I'm off on a week's cycle tour first week of April and its coming with for five nights so if I bugger it up I'll let you know.

A couple of questions:
Having read the blurb about it not being seam sealed, is it ok in the wet?
How careful do you have to be about what you pitch the floor/groundsheet on top of?
