Has anyone got any nice pictures taken somewhere along the Trans Cambrian way? Obviously they could have been taken at a time when you weren't actually riding the TCW. They don't need to be massive as they're for the web
Anything gratefully received, ta - stuart@bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk

Re: Wanted - Pics taken on the Trans Cambrian
Have sent you a few from around Claerwen Reservoir a couple of winters ago.

You should be able to lift these off my Flickr page:
This is on the TCW, being the section we did as part of the Radnor Ring:

From my Wales Coast to Coast trip:
Remote track by ianbarrington, on Flickr
Isolation by ianbarrington, on Flickr
From WRT year before last:

WRT last year:

One more around Claerwen form many years ago:

If you need Grid Ref's for each image, let me know.

Re: Wanted - Pics taken on the Trans Cambrian
Hi, just curious but what are these for? Am planning the TCW as my first "proper" bikepacking trip, so if there's a guide/website planned for it it would be great!
Cheers

Hi Dan ... have a look at this thread
http://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/phpBB ... ?f=7&t=584
By the end of the week there should be somewhere for people to record their efforts BUT it'll only really concerned with the tcw when ridden as a time trial.

You can also try http://www.geograph.org.uk/ it's aim is to take a picture for every grid square on Ordnance Survey maps. It's also got a quiz for map geeks, I find it quite entertaining but then I'm a map geek.
Can handy for planning routes when Google Maps won't show you off road stuff.
