Wanted - Pics taken on the Trans Cambrian

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

Has anyone got any nice pictures taken somewhere along the Trans Cambrian way? Obviously they could have been taken at a time when you weren't actually riding the TCW. They don't need to be massive as they're for the web ;)

Anything gratefully received, ta - stuart@bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk

You should be able to lift these off my Flickr page:

This is on the TCW, being the section we did as part of the Radnor Ring:

If you need Grid Ref's for each image, let me know.

Hi, just curious but what are these for? Am planning the TCW as my first "proper" bikepacking trip, so if there's a guide/website planned for it it would be great!

Cheers

Hi Dan ... have a look at this thread

http://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/phpBB ... ?f=7&t=584

By the end of the week there should be somewhere for people to record their efforts BUT it'll only really concerned with the tcw when ridden as a time trial.

You can also try http://www.geograph.org.uk/ it's aim is to take a picture for every grid square on Ordnance Survey maps. It's also got a quiz for map geeks, I find it quite entertaining but then I'm a map geek.
Can handy for planning routes when Google Maps won't show you off road stuff.
