Doh rocklobstercat, I'd have been well up for entering and doing a car-share, but can't get the Monday off work :( Give me a shout if you ever fancy getting out for a local trip out though

Finally got around to entering! It's my birthday weekend as well so have persuaded my girlfriend to come along and see what it's all about. And one of her friends as well... Cosy...!

I'll be taking one as I always take one on all my trips - my body's a temple and all that jazz...

Its a Drinksafe travel tap so I'll be using it like a normal bottle with the filter removed at the start so it'll just be a normal bike bottle

Its not essential. Theres plenty of water around if you use your common sense and fill up from appropriate places, but if you're unsure i'd take one for piece of mind more than anything else.

I haven't really ridden much between New Town and Knighton so great to be getting over that side. Thanks Stu.

First question of many.

The bridle way that comes out the east side of Hafren (by the ref point) past Gwestyn. Is that best ridden east to west or west to east?

EDIT: After looking at the satellite images is that bridle way best ridden at all??? :-P

I think you'll find that this is in fact the first international edition of the WRT!

I do like the way that some of the GR's are pubs to point Nick in the right direction
