Wtd: low stack height mtb stem

I've figured out how to keep the 120mm SIDS which don't have a long enough steerer. Getting a lower stack height stem.

Does anyone have anything lying about before I go and buy one new. They are rather expensive

I do have a spare one of those ( I think ) after changing my stem to fit a 50 mm bar
The one I have is a DMR but for 31.8 bars and is in lovely condition and you can have it for £30 plus a bit of postage

What's the length on yours please Jase. It's the 35mm length that is in 27mm stack height. I could probably get away with this one by Ragley too https://www.bananaindustries.co.uk/prod ... 2073454877 but happy to take yours if it is the one in 35mm length (and if you can throw in the postage). Sorry my budget isn't as good as it could be these days but hopefully the thinner stem saves me the Rockshox SIDS for his bike

You can also gain a few mm using ultra low stack bearing top covers, might have one in the spares bin from the silly xc racing days,

I think I already have an ultra low stack top cover (Hope at about 3mm I think) and the top press fit cup also only sits out by about 3mm or 2.5mm. If you think your top cap is thinner then, yes please.

Ragley, might work or might not. But rather go with something of the DMR thickness at only 27mm. Which will definitely work. Thanks v much SS (I forget your name, sorry ).

I looked up the specs. Only saving about 1mm over my low profile Hope top cover. So I might just leave it and save you looking through your parts box
