Afternoon,
Im looking for some 29er forks. Ideally 160 but can do 140-170 and juggle another pair over. Tatty, scruffy and needing a service is fine as need them cheap please. Steerer tapered minimum 175mm.

Rockshox SIDS. Almost fit your bill. Stanchions are super smooth but I removed the quick release lockout lever as it was either just annoying, or not working. Got it somewhere though.
120mm is probably the downside as it seems you are after some DHs. Price, will be cheap as I need to fundraise for some more forks for the little ones bike. Sadly the steerer is only 170mm so when I went to measure it up to add to his small 27.5 bike, it was

No Idea if the price is what you need, but there are some very cheap fox forks on ribble cycles at the moment
