I started getting properly back into fitness just after Christmas, but didn't have any weights recorded.
On the 15th Jan I did my MCL, so pretty much all exercise stopped till 31st, so downwards trend has been cutting out all crap from my diet and eating slightly smaller portions along with healthy and more filling food. Still I'm now back to walking and weights at the gym, still can't spin a pedal more than 3/4 of a turn due to the mcl.

Nuff said. It's why I lurk around these parts
Interestingly, your brain is 2% of your body mass, but 20% of your daily energy requirement is dedicated to its processing.

Finally today I was able to complete a full rotation of a pedal and so did five minutes very slow (40-50 cadence) pedaling on the lowest load settings. Hopefully next week I can get the speed up to about 70-90 and then slowly start adding the load and incline back in to properly burn those cals. As of yesterday I am still unable to run, knee almost collapsed on the 2nd stride when I tried. Still I am now walking at a higher speed and speed incline till I can start running again.

16th Jan 87.7kg
27th Jan 85.2 kg
31st Jan 84.9kg
4th Feb 83.9kg

Body fat Has gone from 26.1-23.5%

So I have lost a bagless vacuum cleaner.

Target = 76kg
Starting weight 1/1/23 = 88.4kg
7/1/23 = 85.8kg
14/1/23 = 85.6kg
20/1/23 = 85.7kg
28/1/23 = 84.6kg
5/2/23 = 87.6kg

Bit of a disaster this week as I've been suffering badly from a chest virus, so zero activity and eating far too much junk. Hopefully getting over the worst of it now, and back on track for next week 🤞.

Strangely nothing comes up for 'what weights 800g?', but instead it shows me results for 400g... so it's 2 x small loaves if bread 🤔

Once it reached 1kg the results should be funnier!

Good work. Fell off the wagon this week after a holiday, but it’s ok - it waited down the road for me.

Oh.

I have gained 1 kitten.

A good buddies big birthday at the weekend so I'm unsurprised it's gone up.

More consistent effort needed (and better conditions for exercise wouldn't be terrible).....

Jan 1st 100kg 15st 9.5lb
Jan 12th 98.5kg 15st 7.0lb
Jan 19th 97.7kg 15st 5.5lb
Jan 26th 96.84kg 15st 3.5lb
Feb 2nd 96.84kg 15st 3.5lb
Feb 9th 96.0 15st 1.75lb

Yoga'ing, 60 (poor) press-ups, 10,000+ steps daily
With my weekly cycling target of a meagre 40 miles (hopefully more) I've been out twice this week at lunchtime (I work/skive from home ), just short spins 9/10 miles, it all adds to the 40 miles target. Planning on riding after work, a 15-20 miler then maybe on Sunday if I can get one in. This'd take me to 60 miles or so. I think the cycling really helps the weight.

Sub 15st is in sight... but could still take a couple of weeks to achieve

4.6kg down or 3264cals worth of porridge oats. That's probably a days maintenance calories for me. That many dry oats would definitely fill you up! :o

The old body is still not complying with my desire to do exercise. The ankle is on the right track, but not right. I have managed to do some upper body AMRAP stuff, but the wrists and shoulder haven't liked that. Maybe I just need a month in bacta juice while fasting.

Pleasantly surprised by that, given that I had a bit of a birthday blowout on Wednesday.

Run 39km despite a cold but I've eaten a lot of junk calories this week so I'm not surprised at the lack of weight change. The feed zone book mentioned elsewhere on the forum has arrived in the post so going to try some of those recipes and see if I can reduce my post run inhalation of the cupboards.

Target = XXkg

06/01/23 = 85.1kg
13/01/23 = 84.5kg
20/01/23 = 84.3kg
27/01/23 = 83.7kg
03/02/23 = 84.8kg
10/02/23 = 84.4kg

... I'm wondering if it makes sense for me to continue with this thread. The reason for that is that I've realised that I no longer care about my actual bodyweight metric. My current weight is undulating around 84.5kg roughly, yet my body shape is improving, less fat, more muscle, feel better, clothes fit better, etc. I don't care about my weight now, hence removing my target. Instead, I'm focusing on other targets such as PBs in the gym, generally how I feel, my cycling performance.
Maybe I'll carry on purely as a record of change, but I just don't really care if it goes up or down anymore.

Thanks but I know that I've done nothing to earn it and that it's likely just a big poo's difference.

Feeling mightily negative about everything right now as winter is long, cold and relentless(ly terrifying for a dodgy ankle) out here.....
