Any more bamboo t shirts in the offing?
As comfortably the finest t shirts I have ever owned, I'm always hoping you'll open orders for another batch of the bamboos stu. Anything in the pipeline? Alternatively, if anyone mis-ordered and has one in large they're not using, drop me a pm! Thanks.

I can look into it - they're not easy to source and I imagine the situation has become worse rather than better.
It also makes life trickier with minimum numbers and how they effect prices. We have to take a guess on numbers in order to work out a price - in the case of the latest jerseys, it appears that we may actually lose money on them. It's always an educated or simply best guess and sometimes you're wrong.

I now have so many jerseys that I'm trying not to acquire anymore. But t shirts are easier to justify as I wear them everyday, so I'd be in for one (design dependent)

I love my bamboo t aswell (the blue tree/scenery one). Even wear it for work and the only thing that's slightly off (for me) is the wide neck opening with thin hemming around it (or whatever the lining over a neck openig is called).

Likewise, I'd get a lot more use out of a bamboo t-shirt than I do another jersey.

Thanks, Stu. Cracking tees. I'd happily have the same again in a different colour if you were able to source any. No rush and no problem if you CBA

Stu - If you mean the new plaid design, I'll be ordering one of them. If you end up out of pocket on them, let me know and I'll make up the difference (for mine.) You shouldn't be left out of pocket just so I can be whistled at by enamoured people in the street.Bearbonesnorm wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 8:35 am I can look into it - they're not easy to source and I imagine the situation has become worse rather than better.

Re: Any more bamboo t shirts in the offing?
Just to let you know Stu. I went into Next (outlet store as I needed a shirt ASAP so don't look like a tramp when going to work tomorrow and the client thinking I've not changed shirts in a couple of days) and found a shirt made from responsibly sourced wood fibres. Not sure if that's just another word for bamboo but it was cheap (£15) and feels nice.
Looking forward to what design comes out of this project (and hoping the neck will be a tighter fit ).

Aha, yes... I never actually thought about it that deep. Well pointed out and I wonder if sugarcane is a grass too and not a fruit... Interesting thinking after a night shift - I'll sleep on it!

"Sugarcane is not a fruit nor a vegetable. It is a type of perennial grass like bamboo".
And so we come back full circle to bamboo again
I'll get off your back now Shaf, it's not Gang-up-on-Shaf Day today

Re: Any more bamboo t shirts in the offing?
Okay. Firstly, these will be going ahead but:
1/ Obviously cost depends on numbers. In an effort to keep things reasonable, we're going to hang off until a little closer to Christmas, so can hopefully capitailise on the 'what do you want for Christmas' market which may help swell numbers.
2/ The shirt colours will change but the design will likely stay the same as the last batch. This is because, the design works. It's fairly unobtrusive and as most will likely be worn as base layers, isn't large enough to cause sweaty moob/boob syndrome.
3/ Turn around should be pretty swift - I imagine something like 10 days.
