Viewranger Anomaly

I plot routes with Viewranger on my wife's laptop then transfer them to my tablet and phone. Today I noticed that although i'm using OS 1/50,000 on both tablet and laptop they are not identical. One has more long distance paths marked and sometimes even slightly different routes for said paths. Very odd, had me scratching my head this morning after plotting a route last night then looking at it on my tablet this morning. Only noticed the difference when I compared them side by side, :? .
