I'm with Stu, I expect people to seriously underestimate how hard the 200 miles will be, it's also going to be a tough mental test passing that turn right for the 100 option if things arnt going well. :(

The Two Ton point comes at 92km, so you'll just be warmed up by then :)

For those doing the 100, you do have to make a conscious effort to turn off to stay on the Wildcat route (a bit like driving up the M42), so don't overshoot on the descent or it's a long way back to the same point

No, it's an ITT so it'll take you as long as it takes you.

There'll also be a distint lack of marshalls, checkpoints, waymarkers, feed stations or back-up of any form.

Worth pointing out that resupply points on the 100 are very infrequent (to the point of being non-existent). The 200 mile route is better; details to appear on the Wildcat website next week.

I don't think I'm underestimating the challenge of the 200 but I might be underestimating the challenge of the 100. Hence why I want to do the 200 in the first place. :)

I shall be tapping out 200k audaxes (mostly my own routes) on the road, and could easily find a few 100k / day ride fireroad routes round here.

New forest is good for gravel (if not hills). I also have a route from winchester - salisbury - shaftsbury & return via downton which is around 100.
