Re: The post man's been ...
Mine came from eBay
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bicycle-Pres ... 2749.l2649
I've not fitted them yet so can't confirm the fit etc. but it's a nut, what's to go wrong
I did consider the Problem Solvers Big P Nuts
https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/tyres-tubes ... -big-pnut/
But at £10 a pair I couldn't bring myself to spend that much.

I use the Super P-nuts on my fatbike. The single wall rim means that most tubeless valves don't seal. The Super P-nuts have an indentation on the rim side for the valve seal to fit into.

Ooohh, I'd forgotten about those Stu . However, I find I usually / eventually lose any tool smaller than an 18" monkey wrench unless it's physically attached / stuck in me

A copy of 'Beavers in Wales' ... bit disappointed, turns out it's actually about beavers in Wales.

Erm, are you..... no, no leave it Reg. You're already in hot water with Mrs Perrin as it is. I blame a sleepless night.

As someone whose keen on wildlife and wants a career in countryside management I follow a lot of wildlife groups on FB. I can’t help but post a picture of Leslie Nielson on every post about beavers

I once mail ordered a publication called 'Big Jugs' but it turns out it was all about Roman Amphora

Re: The post man's been ...
A stem mount for my new Exposure light. Reassuringly expensive like the light!
Re: The post man's been ...
The one that bolts onto the front of the stem with replacement bolts. I have two of the normal Exposure handlebar mounts but my gravel bike now has weird riser drops on (Genetic Driser 16s) which have very limited space on the tops (due to the rise) so I decided that the stem mount would be a good option. It's very nice like all Exposure stuff and is a very neat solution but a bit pricey for what it is.
Re: The post man's been ...
Thanks, I have some Ritchey venturemax bars which also have very limited 'land' to mount stuff.
I wondered if that mount might let the light 'see' over the top of a handlebar bag?

Re: The post man's been ...
I think it'd depend on your bar bag set up. I must admit when I fitted the light mount it did strike me that it might be a possible fringe benefit. I'll take a piccie and post it to give you some idea of what it looks like in situ. BRB.
Re: The post man's been ...
I think the bag would need to be quite low for the light bracket to clear it. Here's the bracket on my bike anyway.

Re: The post man's been ...
Nice one, good to see how that looks.
I cant help but wonder if a nice bracket from the mounts on my fork crown would make good use of that

Re: The post man's been ...
Aforementioned Exped HL Synmat just arrived.
Ah it's got the new style non-slip surface like the HL pillow. Includes the Schnozzel bag these days too, although I prefer to pump with the UL Pillowpump.
365g - 7g heavier than my previous one. Sigh, I'll have to trim that 7g somewhere else now or it'll throw my luggage weight distribution right out of whack otherwise.
To settle the discussion elsewhere, smallprint: "warranty 2 years on materials and workmanship".

Well this is exciting news, I may have to postpone my morning bike ride so as not to miss any potential deliveries!Pickers wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 10:49 amAnd one of those arrived here as well!ScotRoutes wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 10:39 am A strange envelope with a bit of sticky tape folding the end over...
Re: The post man's been ...
Same here
Thank goodness it was 2mm shorter than previously otherwise there's no way it would have fit through my letterbox
Thanks Stu

Mag looks great. I'm a sucker for a nicely printed magazine with good photography, and they make really good presents for the right people too.
