Hi, some collective help from you lot if possible please.
Its generally quite difficlut to get to a shop to try shoes on, now its impossible (for good reason obviously) so im looking for some collective knowledge.
I've got a pair of 46 shimano roady shoes, they fit pretty well. Ive a pair of shimano mtb shoes size 46 (model me4 i think), these fit good length, too narrow though. The ME4 are also way too soft in the sole.
I also have a pair of specialized sport mtb spd shoes in a size 46, these are a bit big, but not a whole size too big. Stiffness is good though. These are a couple of years old.
Any tips of shoe fit from anyone? Brands to try?
Ive looked for specialized in a 45.5 but 150 pounds quid is a little steep...
Thanks all

I swear by lake MX 161.
I am a 43 but I buy these in a 45
I suspect I could get away with a wide fit 44
But they haven't worn out yet.
They're not flash or ultralight or waterproof.
But they are durable, affordable and comfortable.

Quite the fan of Specialized shoes, guess they just fit me.
Bontrager do a comfort fit guarantee, you buy them, wear them up to 30 days and if they don’t work out, take them back to the shop (or post!) and you’ll get your money back. Can’t argue with that!
