I need a new pump to replace my cheapo one.
Something that'll fit in a half frame bag / jersey pocket ideally.
I don't run timeless, do the valve core issue isn't of concern. Also I'd quite like a flexi hose / connection to the valve, as opposed to a direct fit.
What does the hive mind recommend ?

the only one i know with a hose is a Lezyne but not sure they do a genuine mini - depends how small you want.
I use a pocket rocket as its seems about the right balance between price, sizeand usability - no hose though
I personally dont think the lezyne gives any advantage over anotherpumpand can unscrew valves - Ihave two but rarely use them - on is the HV "mini floorpump" I take for the 650B

Cheers for the info. I was actually looking at this, https://www.wiggle.co.uk/topeak-mini-morph-pump/
Maybe a bit big for a picket, but not ridiculous. Has anyone used one? Idea of quality?

Yep, fine. Might take a bit longer to inflate a tyre but it works. Comes with a mount to fasten under a bottle cage as well so you don't need to fit it in a pocket or frame bag.ootini wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 10:56 am Cheers for the info. It looks ok to me, ticks most boxes and the reviews look ok. If I hear of nothing better I'll pull the trigger on the Topeak when all this covid 19 foolishment be done with.
Re: What mini pump?
I use a Lezyne Mini pump. It has a flexible hose and mounts under the bottle cage. Works well, takes a while to inflate like any mini pump. This one:

Re: What mini pump?
Lezyne have brought out a new pump recently, the Pocket Drive. There's a pic of mine in the Postman's Been thread.
It is tiny, and I tested it by inflating a 29 x 2.35 tyre as a test. It obviously takes longer than a bigger pump but not too bad.

Re: What mini pump?
I splurged for the one Jameso recommended on the other Lezyne thread. I like my Lezynes as they seem well made and compact (handy when using a wing nut that is "squarer" than a camelbak). Will see how it goes.
I was amazed how expensive some pumps were (£50++) and really cant rationalise.carrying some of the mini-track pump style jobs.
