Oh dear, and I see the advertising blurb says it maintains a "gentle but firm grip on your post". Good to hear that it won't let you down in a sticky situation.
85 NZD - ouch. You ordered direct?
Absolutely not condoning plagiarism but, er, I'd bet one of our top seamstresses on Here could knock up a completely different but, er, not entirely dissimilar thing. There was a recent thread wasn't there but my memory's addled.

O I CBearbonesnorm wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 6:38 pmDunno, but I did buy these because they are waterproof and even have a 'seal' of sorts around the top.Aren't the Lomo boots 'wet' though?
Though they were wetsuit style / principle. Ignore me then (probably a good approach all round!).
Re: The post man's been ...
Yes its overpriced once delivered (got copped for the import VAT too) but it does work (once an extra strap added), the seat post clamp has a sturdy Voile strap and clears the seat clamp, surprisingly stable and lets me use the full sus for bike packing. Obviously have limited rear travel with the seat post down.

Re: The post man's been ...
is it material or plastic /rubber -basically what is it made of?
looks great but way way more than i would even consider paying

Re: The post man's been ...
Its made out of quite stiff, but flexible plastic, like a thicker version of a folded fork mounted mudguard. Could be very MYO if you could get a big enough piece of plastic.

What's the bag? Looks more than 9L. Sway, waggle etc? (not that it matters really). I've run out of single entendres now, apologies.
Tempted to have a bash at one - I'd just leave it on permanently so a U-shaped bit of plastic, some cableties, and some S2S straps would do it I reckon.

It's an AK tapered bag, 9l ish, fits perfect.
Quite like a bit of sway myself, I thinks it's going to work well. Start up a MYO thread Reg if you can find some material.

"find some material" - bit more challenging than one might think but will have a look round. That idea of kitchen chopping board/sheet rings a bell.

Part 2 of the new sleeping system has arrived
Bargain price here https://www.freezeproshop.com/gb/therma ... eeping-mat
It's smaller than I expected , hopefully I won't pop it or slide of it!??!
& apparently Part 3 - Borah bivi has arrived, but HMRC wants some cash before I can have it

Re: The post man's been ...
The solution to both of these I find is not to over-inflate. If there is some give there's somewhere for the pressure to go when for example you sit on it getting in your bag. The slightly 'squidgy' mat also lets you sink in just enough to not side off the top.
Unless you're talking about the can of Rio in which case good luck balancing on that

Also take great care around that mat. I punctured mine after some crap got into my bivy bag. The walls really are thin

Mine was fooked before I had used it.
I inflated it straight out the box and left it overnight and it had deflated by morning, sent it back for
a replacement and have been really pleased with it.
