What's the weekend got in store?
Last bank holiday before Christmas , so what's in store?
I'm home alone from 8.00am this morning until late Monday night so once I've finished packing orders and done a post run, I might attempt the task or sorting out my workshop. I've being putting it off for some time but now seem to have boxed myself into a 3' x 3' working area After that, there's weeding the yard and bringing wood in for winter. Somewhere, I'll squeeze in a little BB200 recon with Dennis the dog.
Added bonus of fried Spam butties for tea

Re: What's the weekend got in store?
Niece’s 18th today so a meal in Manchester with her. Currently in Bradford getting a present
Road ride back home tomorrow taking in a couple of climbs from the 100 climbs book. Scary thing is that it’s the first time I’ve tried to follow a route on the Garmin 520
Then looking at doing something over Saturday and Sunday nights but don’t know what just yet

I’m in north Devon atm, without the bike. Can’t complain really I was here the week before and had a good run around the B150 course. Saturday will be spent keeping family happy, Sunday driving home and perhaps watching MotoGP. Unlikely to get out Monday either I’m angling for a pass next weekend I’m 50 on Friday and being a miserable sod would rather spend it sleeping in a ditch

We're talking a number of years, yeah?
Me, I'm dog sitting whilst youngest daughter goes to the seaside. He's an old boy now so can only manage walks of a couple of miles at a gentle pace. So, local blasts on the bike for me whilst he sleeps between walks and meals
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

Mildenhall cycling festival tomorrow. I entered the 200km Audax. Part of me thinks I should have gone for the 300km ride as its so flat in Suffolk. Looks like it could be a hot one though so maybe I made the right choice afterall.

Something with "300" in the title, either Lakes or Peaks. Haven't decided yet.
Bike needs a serious coat of looking at tonight.

I've got 9 days of basically just me and the kids while the missus is off in seclusion finishing her masters assignment for the year. I forsee lots of trips out in the trailer that they barely squeeze in any more and bike maintenance in the back garden while they steal my tools.

Feeling ill, so it looks like a quiet weekend at home rather than a welsh adventure - boo

Re: What's the weekend got in store?
It's "Thunder in the Glens" this weekend so Aviemore and environs is full of Harley Davidsons, I normally arrange to be doing "something else" but I've been caught out this year and we have a couple of friends staying over Saturday night so we'll likely be heading into town to hear raucous music, eat crap food, drink fizzy beer and probably get a few investment ideas, surgery appointments etc from the riders.
However, before that I'm setting off today on an overnighter to try out some new bikepacking ideas.

Stuck at work all weekend and the weather looks perfect
I’m planning on heading out for an overnighter on Monday but can’t decide whether to head north to the Ridgeway/Ivinghoe area or south to the SDW. It’s 50:50 on distance so might have to flip a coin to decide.
