The WRT GR are out. Anyone entered should have received an email this morning ... if you've entered but don't have the email:

1/ Check your spam.
2/ Check your other email accounts, it might have gone to an account you don't use much.
3/ If you still can't find it, email stuart@bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk and I'll forward you a copy.

Enjoy ;)

SHOTGUN! ;)

That's for the Bothy. It's now mine and applications and booking can be applied for directly through me in triplicate.

There will be security on the door and if your names not down your not coming in.

(and if your names Dan, your definitely not coming in)

damm...

I'm stuck in work and have to got to wait a whole 3 hours before I start getting on everyones nerves at home for the next couple of weeks.

at least this year we're down to "just" 3 maps, last year I didn't have enough floor space to lie them all out (yes I know I'm old fashioned like that).

Seaside eh, do Giro have a "kiss me quick" helmet ?
Wait for me...

Think you'll find OS Landranger 1:50 000, Aberystwyth and Machynlleth No135 covers the two nighter. Just ordered mine from dash4it.

Just be aware that the 1:50 doesn't always show all the possible tracks, etc ... there's one in particular that springs to mind, I imagine it still haunts some people who rode on a 1:50 a few years ago ;)

I'm still having nightmares about the "bridleway" from the top of Dyfnant Forest last year.......

Don't think it's a problem.

Stu - have you ridden all of the GR's as a through ride (not a there and back)?

One particular GR we rode back in 2010 which wasnt very pleasant, but may have changed now.

I also seem to have a off map section

I've been to them all but won't have ridden them all as a route/loop in one go.

You know what it's like round here ... stuff doesn't change much and when it does it rarely gets better ;)

I meant if a rode from A to B via one of the GR's i could do that in one section and and not have to double back?

Think i may have to reserve a place at the Bothies, although Susan can sleep outside. Shes got a tent to test out ;)
