Has anyone bought from Borah Gear in the US?

I've just ordered a bivy and tarp from Borah Gear in the US. Am I likely to have to pay import duty/VAT?

I got hit for £34 extra - Borah had valued the bivvy at $90 for some reason (it was the $80 model) - lots of people seem to have been lucky though and not paid anything

My bivi got caught and cost a bit (though less than Steve IIRC). It's a lottery whether you get caught / charged or not. Often the taxes are OK but the courier's handling fee is the stinger.

My Bivi Bag got through OK. John was happy to mark it down a bit which might have helped 8-)
