Boners - no.
TLS - no.
Stop Being Soft - only works as a motivator and I can't see it there when I'm riding
I really like Ride Eat Sleep and would like to see that retained.
I guess I'm actually saying that I'm happy with the current artwork.

Re: Can we have a new jersey yet?
Moi also happy with current artwork (big growly bear on front, ride/eat/sleep/repeat on back with rider name and easy to read 'bearbonesbikepacking' somewhere). Easier for Stu and no new artwork costs. Deffo like orange/black to differentiate with previous green.
Would also be ok (but deffo less so) with cuddly bear and crossbones "stop bein' soft" etc on front instead if that's majority.
We still looking at bamboo (please)? Tshirt or jersey-thing?
Can I just say again thank u very much Stu for picking up this herdingcats project - i'd say thankless but it's not it's much appreciated.

Re: Can we have a new jersey yet?
I like the orange/black colour scheme of the existing shirt design. Not keen on the "badge" design.
KISS
Agree that things like TLS, stop being soft, etc are very much an "in" thing, but then it's a good conversation opener when folk ask you about it. Maybe a small "saddle bag" graphic with them in? In the same manner as the pegs.

My hap’orth:
Skull bear on the front - no words
Ride, sleep, repeat or TLS on rear (no Boners)
Cuddly bear on the arm
Bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk down side or along hem

Why a skull?
'Grateful Bikepackers' or 'Hells Bikepackers Pennant Chapter' would look better with that.
If it comes to a vote I would go with keep it the same design as current or just change the colour - if you must - as long as it sets a precedent that every iteration has a different colour from now on.

Zazen - nothing happens next this is it.

"The human skull is generally considered to consist of twenty-two bones—eight cranial bones and fourteen facial skeleton bones. In the neurocranium these are the occipital bone, two temporal bones, two parietal bones, the sphenoid, ethmoid and frontal bones".
So perhaps we could have a sort of arty-farty "exploded view" of those 22 bones instead of one skull? SHUT UP REG.
Still like shouty bear I'm afraid ;-).

Yes Reg. Nice bamboo 'T shirts' for those times when something more casual is called forWe still looking at bamboo (please)? Tshirt or jersey-thing?
See, this is all good because I kind of got the idea that grumpy bear had run his course but now it appears that he's actually much loved.

Re: Can we have a new jersey yet?
I agree, I quite like the current design but it would be nice to have a new colour. It would also save on set up charges so hopefully keep costs down and allow more people to buy oneMariner wrote:

Re: Can we have a new jersey yet?
I'd go with that and like the orange colour scheeme too.Asposium wrote:a third option to see if playing.
stop being soft bear on the front
rider's name and "ride, eat, sleep, repeat" on the back (feel that sums us up)
with skull bear on each arm sleeve
Same here.Dave Barter wrote:benp1 wrote:Third option works the best, of those three
Ride eat sleep repeat is the best bit for me. Stop being soft also works good, TLS is too much of a TLA that only us lot will recognise
Yep same here as all my IT w**nker mates will ask why I am getting a stiffy over secure transport protocols
Would happily take a full set of what ever you think of having printed (long sleeves, short, gilet, as long as no merino, no bamboo). If... you'd ship it to cheese country of course.
Thanks for the work

Okay, talk of a liking for 'zombie' bear and less perhaps being more, has produced these three ... and yes, I do appreciate that the more possibles that get posted, the more confusion and uncertainty reigns

Re: Can we have a new jersey yet?
If you did Merino or bamboo I would be interested. Or I could get a gilet.
I would rather not have anything that was suggestive of an innuendo like ‘boner’. I’d feel a bit uncomfortable in public, at cafes, around children and families etc. Maybe this is just me being sensitive.
Like the ‘Eat, Sleep, Ride Repeat. Rather than TLS which is an in thing, and I’d rather not try an explain it too some old lady that asks me what it means.
Bearbonesbikepacking, yes
Colour wise, I quite like a dark grey colour. With red or maybe white sides to aid visibility?
Not sure about the bear designs, no strong opinion either way. Friendly bear is nice, it seems less aggressive and if we look friendly, then maybe a farmer might be more obliging to let you kip in his field. Cyclists are not liked by the general public at the best of times.

Like all the new 3 options.
Re: Can we have a new jersey yet?
The new options all look good, the orange is my preference but I'd have any of them
Re: Can we have a new jersey yet?
The black/orange and black/white are good. Not sold on the red. +1 for zombie bear :)

Re: Can we have a new jersey yet?
Gosh, looks like consensus forming for the "rear view" . Where on earth did zombiebear come from though? I must have been dozing and drooling in my old-man-chair and missed that one. And if "cuddly bear" is on the back, there's nae point having owt cuddly/soft on the front. No, surely, full-frontal grumpy bear is getting the upper hand again . Like the sound of regular re-issues in different colours - "collect the rainbow set and impress all your friends!" . Can feel one of those voting thingies coming along .
"Casual" you say Stu? Hmm. OK. Many, many years ago when I fooled someone to let me have a proper job somewhere for a while, I ended up being a bit of a ring-leader of silly events and things. I had a run of country-themed luncheons, some of which we cooked in the office kitchen. Anyroad, "French Lunch Day" happened. One bloke decided to go as a French legionnaire. I decided that he needed a moll (cue Ripping Yarns line: "a moll? what does he want one of those for? nasty smelly things digging up the garden" ). Who could I convince to fulfil that role? Hmmmm..... I wonder...... casual indeed....
I thought the BBB beard completed the ensemble most fetchingly! And does one detect the merest hint of frilly knickers there? NO, that would be ridiculous and OTT .

Re: Can we have a new jersey yet?
Like all of 'em.
Orange (also my preferred one) also on the sides of the first option would be perfect for my likes, but I'd also take them as they are now.

Not so keen on the red one but the other two both work

Love a bit of cuddle bear and think it fits well on the rear pocket. Orange zombie just looks like a pumpkin to me. Is a casual orange and black feather boa on the cards?
