The Adventure Cycle Festival has finally put it's hand up and posted up it's dates, possibly to late for many.
It's the same weekend as Richard Munro's South Lakes Bike Fest.
I believe they were waiting on Lyon distribution to fund it and when they pulled out they were forced to put it on themselves.
Charging a bit more for entry than Richards event for a shorter period (2 days over 3) and asking stores for £750 each to attend as well.
I'm going to the South Lakes on as it's going to be more grass roots I feel.
Are you going and if so to which one?
1st weekend in Sept in the Lakes

Re: 1st weekend in Sept in the Lakes
Two events aimed at a very similar audience on the same weekend in virtually the same place ... seems mad to me. No one wins and ultimately both become diluted and maybe not what they could / should be with regard to their potential.
May the bridges you burn light your way

Lakes one
Mr Munroes as i have paid for it but what is said above is very true - makes sense to ride over to the other one though as part of the gravel ride and might just do that - its not like either is prohibitively expensive
